Our branches may be closed but we’re still dishing up the best in books, DVDs, magazines and Audiobooks. We’re trialing a ‘Library Takeaway’ service, where we prepare your items and deliver them to your residence, or make them available for pick up… just like your favourite pizza!

Kanopy – stream movies online

Kanopy is an online streaming service unlike any other. With a large number of high quality independent and award winning movies, documentaries and a dedicated children’s service, Kanopy’s great offerings far outweigh it’s pricetag for Western Downs Library members (it’s FREE!).
Please be aware, movies are limited to 10 free views per month, per library card. Children’s content is currently unlimited.

StoryBox Library has hundreds of videos of colourfully narrated children’s books, all available to watch for free with your library card.

Graeme Base’s Animalia (Library Edition) takes kids of all ages on a stimulating learning adventure through one of the world’s most beloved and well-known picture books.

Featuring a new animated story, ‘The ABC of Flying’, it brings to life all the major characters from the book as they host a range of interactive activities exploring the intricate detail of Graeme’s amazing artwork.
